Cindy Sheehan - "Sock her" mom
Having practice under their belt beating up a mother, Valerie Plame, with classified gossip, the bullies and crusaders in the W administration now take their bloodsport public. Senior administration officials, who spoke on super double-secret deep background to the Curmudgeon, acknowledged that Osama Bin Laden is on the back burner until Cindy Sheehan can be taken care of. She is of course the mother of Casey Sheehan who died in Sadr City, Iraq, and is camped out near W's Crawford ranch demanding he meet with her. This has caused the bullies in the administration to consider having her arrested as a national security threat. Dissent equals a national security threat. What a great way to end the week. And you wonder why the Curmudgeon is perpetually and increasingly cranky.
Apparently the strategy of the bullies in the White House is to publicly praise her efforts and the sacrifice of "what's her son's name again?" while privately supporting the Mother's of Fallen Soldiers for Truth. The PR blitz links Cindy Sheehan with anyone who has embraced her, hint, hint, Michael Moore, and then slime her with the "national security threat" of Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 documentary for example. But I embrace the guilt by association argument as the Bush family was in business with the Bin Laden family, through the Carlyle Group, on 9/11. And the prestigious Internet also claims W's daddy HW was meeting with Shafig Bin Laden, Osama's brother, at a business meeting at the Ritz Carlton when the towers were struck. W and the crusaders also gave the Bin Laden posse free passage out of the country in the days after 9/11. I mean why let mass murder get in the way of some business profits?
And Faux News and their vicious propagandists really earned their money this week. Bill O'Reilly, took time out from sexually harassing his employees (allegedly) and settling for $10 million (allegedly) to say of Cindy Sheehan that her "behavior borders on treasonous." I kid you not. And that's only a taste of the venom and bile spewed by those who have never served in combat, never had a relative serve in combat, never had a son serve in combat and never lost a 24-year-old son in combat.
Cowards and bullies. All of them.
Like I said, what a way to end the week. Just hope Camp Crawford doesn't turn in to Camp Delta at Guantanamo Bay for Cindy Sheehan. But with this crowd you never know what depths you can achieve until you try.

Why do you think Bush spends so much time cutting brush? He needs it to make all those Straw Men his party parades around - Jane Fonda, Michael Moore, Ted Kennedy. Any time there's the slightest challenge, out come the straw men on parade so the rabble can burn them in effegy - or on Fox News.
Sadly, it works.
And Michelle (I Never Met A Concentration Camp I Didn't Like) Malkin's contribution to Right Wing commentary on Cindy Sheehan is a classic: "I can’t imagine that Casey Sheehan would approve of such behavior."
Unbelievable.
